SHON Antibody

The epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is one of the main mechanisms behind cancer metastasis, the leading cause of mortality associated with breast cancer. SHON is a novel secreted protein that exerts a crucial function in the oncogenic transformation of mammary carcinoma cells and in breast cancer progression. SHON as an EMT inducer through the activation of TGF-b signaling in an autocrine and/or paracrine manner.
