GTP-binding nuclear protein Ran Mouse mAb for Tangerine

The protein encoded by the RAN gene is a small G protein that is involved in transport into and out of the cell nucleus during interphase and also involved in mitosis. It is a member of the Ras superfamily. The protein is essential for the translocation of RNA and proteins through the nuclear pore complex. The protein has also been implicated in the control of DNA synthesis and cell cycle progression.
